Officer French Saved One Month Old Less Than a Week Before her Murder
Officer Ella French has been honored and memorialized since her murder while on duty in Chicago. However, one report out of Chicago highlights an act of heroism from Officer French that happened less than a week before her death.
According to WGN, Officer French was on duty on Thursday, July 1, when she responded to a shooting in the Englewood neighborhood. Officer French reportedly saved a one-month-old baby’s life who suffered a gunshot wound the little girl sustained at the party with her parents.
